Brittany Force Sets Las Vegas Track Record at NHRA Nevada Nationals
Making her last appearance at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada, Brittany Force made the fastest run in track history, setting a new track record of 338.85 mph.
Force, who will retire from full-time racing at the end of the season, secured her sixth top qualifying spot and 58th in her career with the 3.697-second pass.
"I never would have imagined I'd have 58 No. 1 qualifiers," Force said. "That just sounds like an impossible number, but I've been out here for many years, and I've been teamed up with many amazing crew chiefs and sponsors who have supported me to get us to that point."
